Rebecca Sara “Becca” Spry, age 31, went home to be with our Lord after unexpected health complications.
She was the beloved daughter of Kevin & Staci of Wheeling; a loving sister of Kaci (Logan) Macri; and her little man, her nephew, Walker Macri; her maternal grandparents, Chip & Becky Marshall; her aunts, Joni Marshall & Sheri Marshall; her extremely close cousins, Nick Schubert, Lindsey & Ethan Hardy.
Becca was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 2013, WV Junior College in 2017 and most recently graduated from EMT school. Becca was raised Catholic and attended St. Michael Parish and then rediscovered her faith at The Experience Church, where she was actively involved.
Becca was the bright light around everyone she knew. She was a Harry Potter fanatic, lover of The Office, Bob’s Burgers, and Parks & Rec. She loved to tell Dad jokes and pull pranks on her family and coworkers. She was a natural caregiver to all her patients and family at WVU Medicine where she worked as a medical assistant. She loved to sing, especially Disney tunes, and knew every word to any song she liked.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Cleve & Sara Spry; her aunt, Teri Marshall; and her uncle, Jeff Spry.
At the time of passing, she was surrounded by her loving family and passed peacefully. Many thanks to all the doctors and nurses at the Cleveland Clinic who gave her such compassionate care.
Her laugh, her smile, and bubbly personality will be missed by many. We’ll love you forever, our Becca Boo.
