Lois J. Davis Weston, of Grove City, OH, formerly of Wellsville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2026, with her family by her side. She was 74. Lois was born on July 16, 1951 in Alabama to the late Dolphus Davis, Sr. and Elizabeth Jackson Davis Fitch.
Lois attended Wellsville schools and was previously the manager of On Stage Fashions in Jacksonville, FL. Her love for fashion never faded, wherever you saw her, she was dressed.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Baby Davis and Samuel A. Davis; her brothers: David L. Davis, Dolphus Davis Jr., and Eddie C. “Man” Davis; and her sister, Annie P. Youngblood.
Lois is survived by her sons, Jeffey A. Davis, Tyrone M. “Reese” Davis, and Tremayne L. Davis, all of Ohio; her brothers, Homer Davis, of Florida, and Stewart Davis, of Pennsylvania, and her sister, Virginia A. Parrish, of Florida. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Lois will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. Known for her cooking, she loved sharing whatever she made with the community. She never met a stranger and was always making other people laugh. Her love of music and dancing kept her in shape as she would dance anyone off the floor.
Public visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 1PM-3PM at the MacLean Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation on Riverside Avenue, Wellsville. The funeral will follow at 4PM at Wellsville First Baptist Church, 1401 Center Street, Wellsville with Pastor Roylin Petties officiating.
