Susan Cameron

Susan Kathleen Cameron (Wise), 66, of Moundsville, West Virginia, passed away on January 4, 2026. Susan was truly a force to be reckoned with—strong, creative, and unforgettable to all who knew her.

She had a deep love for her classics, with Grease, Cry Baby, Mamma Mia, Cher, and Elvis Presley often playing on repeat while she worked on her crossword puzzles or created one of her many drawings. Susan was an extraordinary artist, and one of her drawings became especially cherished and well-known among her family.

Above all else, Susan was a devoted Mother, Daughter, Sister, and Aunt. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely and without limits.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Wise; her children, Rachel Carney, Michael Carney (Britta Carney), Sara Carney, and Christopher Cameron; and her beloved grandchildren, Dean Davis, Adam Wise, Tiara Thompson, Reign Thompson, Kayanu Wise, Brayden Wise, Joshua Mercer, and Asher Wise. She is also survived by her siblings, Danette Scott (Tom Scott), Rick Wise, Becky Wise, Jeanne Carr, Bob Wise (Janet Wise), along with many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Dean Wise; her son-in-law, Tyrone “Fresh” Thompson; her brother-in-law, Howard Carr; and her uncle Tom Wise, uncle Glenn Wise, and aunt Betty Wise.

Susan will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by many. In true Susan fashion, she did not wish for services. If you knew her, you knew she wouldn’t want tears—she would want laughter, memories, and a celebration of the incredible woman she was.
