Theodore Moratuwage, infant son of Jefrie and Angela Montesano Moratuwage, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026, in his sleep at home in his mother’s arms.
He was born on October 27, 2025, in Wheeling, WV.
Theodore was a sweet, gentle baby. He loved his family and smiled often. He enjoyed looking at the Christmas tree lights, going for car rides, and having tummy time. His name means “gift of God” and that’s just the gift that he was.
In addition to his parents, Theodore is survived by his maternal grandparents, Jay and Michelle Montesano of Moundsville, WV; paternal grandparents, Michel and Angelina Moratuwage of Nice, France; twin sisters, Lucille and Louise; and brother, Oliver.
Family and friends are invited to Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003 (304-232-2322) on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 1 pm until time of service at 3:30 pm with John Wright officiating.
