Nolan, Sherry Lynn Ruthers, 75, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born on November 29, 1950, in Ohio County, WV, daughter of the late John Paul and Jean Lou Bowman Ruthers.
Sherry was a retired apartment manager at the Welty Corp. and a member of Elm Grove United Methodist Church where she volunteered for many things. She also volunteered for the 4H club at Oglebay where she would cook.
She was extremely dedicated to her family and grandchildren. She loved the beach.
In addition to her parents, Sherry is preceded in death by two sons, Brian Phillip McClelland and Corey Carroll; and brother, Johnny Ruthers, II.
Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Mike Patrick Nolan; daughter, Elizabeth Rowe; stepdaughter, Deanna (James) Reed; three sisters, Paula (Mike) McDermott, Lori Hoffman, and Amy (David) Henry; and five grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 10:00-11:30 AM & 3:00-4:30 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311).
