Gerald “Jerry” E. Mick II, a lifelong resident of Ohio, passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 67, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. Born on August 10, 1958, in East Liverpool, Jerry was the son of Ruth Ann Patterson McElroy and the late Gerald E Mick,I

A graduate of Beaver Local High School, Class of 1976, Jerry went on to hold various jobs throughout his lifetime. Among his many roles, he spent time as a welder, contributing his skills to the construction and maintenance of water towers.

Jerry was a member of the Yellow Creek Grange during its years of operation and attended the First Christian Church of Wellsville, where he was part of a community of faith.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Everette Mick I, and his brother, Robert Mick.

He leaves behind his son, Jerry (Natalie) Mick, of Georgia; his sisters, Deborah Mick of Lisbon, Rebecca (Steven) Northup of Illinois, and Patricia Daniels, of Salem; his brothers, Richard (Tammy) Mick of East Liverpool and Mark Mick of Wellsville; his stepdaughter, Amber Langley of West Virginia; and his companion, Darla Mick of West Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
